The full cookies notice is being drafted with counsel. In the meantime, here is what Kausmos actually uses today so you can make an informed choice at the banner.
PostHog. Product analytics and session recording. Set to opt out by default, so nothing is captured until you accept at the banner. When enabled, every input value (text fields, textareas, selects) is masked, and elements marked as sensitive by our code are also masked. Anonymous visitors never get a person profile.
Vercel Analytics.Cookieless aggregate visit counting. Runs regardless of the banner choice because it does not set cookies and does not identify visitors.
Local storage. A single key, kausmos-consent-v1, stores your banner choice on this device. If you clear site data, the banner will ask again.
Once you are signed in to the planner dashboard or the guest portal, additional analytics apply under our terms of service rather than the marketing banner. Those specifics will be detailed in the finalised notice.
